		BiPAP® S/T System with Encore® Pro SmartCard® It's the newest addition to Respironics home noninvasive ventilator fleet. The compact and lightweight unit is simple to operate offering a straightforward user interface and an integrated heated humidifier for easier set-up and management. The unit also is the first noninvasive device to combine Respironics' proven BiPAPÂ® technology with SmartCardÂ® for use with EncoreÂ® Pro and is rich with features such as Digital Auto-Trakâ„¢ Sensitivity,adjustable RiseTime, and integrated alarms.
		BiPAP® Synchrony® Ventilatory Support System The BiPAP Synchrony provides more natural and comfortable noninvasive ventilation specifically for COPD patients and others suffering from respiratory insufficiency. ALS or neuromuscular patients may also benefit from the therapy provided by Synchrony. Synchrony can be adapted to meet a patient's needs by offering flexibility in treatment options.
		CoughAssist® The CoughAssist MI-E noninvasively helps patients clear bronchial secretions when they canâ€™t cough for themselves. The CoughAssist is a safe, comfortable way to reduce the risk of airway damage and respiratory complications. Helps patients by enhancing or replacing their natural removal of bronchial secretions with the gradual application of positive pressure to the airway followed by a rapid shift to negative pressure.
		BiPAP® AVAPS™ BiPAP AVAPS is Respironics' newest noninvasive ventilator for home use, and features AVAPS (Average Volume Assured Pressure Support) technology. The AVAPS algorithm guarantees an average tidal volume by automatically adapting pressure support to meet the patient's needs on a breath-by-breath basis. AVAPS achieves this by estimating the patient's tidal volume over several breaths and calculating the change in pressure needed to achieve the target tidal volume.
